Since our foundation in 2011,
Urban Kingdom has developed into one of the most influential international platforms out of the UK.
From producing films with musicians who have sold over 150 million records featuring in them, making music videos watched by tens of million people, publishing books with over 100 lead creatives writing in them, making magazines featuring musicians with over a billion streams featuring in them, hosting events with 1000s of leading creatives attending and premiering exclusive site content from over 25 countries.

WU-TANG CLAN (2013) – In the Urban Kingdom film ‘Street Smart‘, director Nick Donnelly was the only filmmaker allowed to capture the living members of Wu-Tang Clan the only time they had been together in the UK for 15 years.

HANNAH WILLIAMS (2017) – Urban Kingdom produced and directed the official music video to ‘Late Nights & Heartbreaks’ by Hannah Williams & The Affirmations, as sampled by Jay-Z on the title track to his last album ‘4.44’

METHOD MAN (2019) – Urban Kingdom linked up once more with Method Man on the music video to ‘Winnebago’ shot between Staten Island and London, featuring British rap artist Yung Meth

CARLA-MARIE WILLIAMS (2018) – Urban Kingdom produced several videos for Beyonce ‘Freedom’ and ‘Runnin’ songwriter Carla-Marie Williams, from her first ever individual interview, to the first videos to launch her platform ‘Girls I Rate’, to filming a documentary down at Abbey Road on Carla and House Gospel Choir covering the record ‘Blackbird’.

FREDDIE GIBBS (2011) – Shot in Manhattan, Urban Kingdom was the first British platform to work with Grammy nominated musician Freddie Gibbs, directing the music video to his record ‘Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away’ produced by Statik Selektah.

RUFF RYDERS (2011) – Filmed between the legendary powerhouse studio in Yonkers, and a flat in Harlem, Urban Kingdom worked with Mook on his music video ‘Love Thru The Speakers’ taken from his mixtape hosted by Dj Khaled and featuring Lil’ Kim, Akon, Jadakiss and more.

JALEN N’GONDA (2016) – Urban Kingdom produced ‘Holler’ the first music video of Daptone Records’ Jalen N’Gonda’s career, when he was a student from Maryland, DC, living in Liverpool, England.

MARTHA REEVES (2013) Featuring in Urban Kingdom’s first ever film, was Motown legend, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient Martha Reeves (Heatwave, Dancing In The Street, Nowhere To Run). appearing exclusively in depth in an interview during her 50th year touring in the music industry.
