NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS: Born in Croydon, South London, Rachel’s father is Malaysian Chinese – himself having emigrated to the UK when he was 16. After Rachel graduated from university in London she worked in luxury PR before wanting an adventure led her to Paris in 2006 where she studied at Le Cordon Bleu. While living in Paris, Rachel launched her first cookbook and in 2012 her first BBC British television show, filmed from Paris. Her cookbook sold over 120,000 copies and the television series was watched by 1.5 million viewers in the UK. Rachel moved to Sweden in 2016
