Generation W presents:
GENERATION WORLDWIDE
Day IV

Urban Kingdom started in Newcastle, England in 2011. First operating from a kitchen table, we created from isolation in a city struggling to rebuild in a global recession and found global audiences all over the world.
Day Four starts with a music video premiere from ABI NYXX, a young Hip-Hop artist from Newcastle who wrote and recorded the record ‘Rapunzel’ in her bedroom during the Summer lockdown.
FYIAH, a RnB/Reggae artist originally from Jamaica, sets the Saturday morning off with a positive and spiritual set in a green backdrop of Detroit, USA. Grammy winning songwriter (co-writer with D’Angelo) GINA FUEGO (Puerto Rico/ New York, USA) then performs an acoustic set to wind down to for the weekend before BARBARA EUGENIA from Brazil gives us another sunny and relaxed vibe, our sunshine of Saturday continues with DALAUN in Oakland in California, USA.
After a screening of the Generation W documentary to express in further details what everyone is coming together for, YASMIN JANE, a pop artist who also writes in the book ‘Generation W’, performs in her house during lockdown, just days after one of her latest records reached two million listeners online. KAREN HARDING, a musician originally from Newcastle, England, ends the Saturday night with her up tempo dance anthems that have secured her platinum charts status in the UK,and a remix of her record ‘Say Something’ reaching 80 million streams while she performs from her bedroom, the way she started her career.
